Ulalo Empowers 98 Zonal Officers with Advanced Training for BEFIT Program Success

In a significant effort to ensure smooth and effective collaboration for the transformative Building Education Foundations through Innovation and Technology (BEFIT) program, Ulalo conducted Monitoring and Evaluation, and Technical Training for zonal officers in Mzimba.

The session, targeting all officers directly involved in the program, aimed to equip them with the technical knowledge necessary to manage the BEFIT program.

A total of 130 participants gained proficiency in utilizing MEL tools and troubleshooting BEFIT gadgets in both Mzimba north and south that took place at Ekwendeni,Euthini,Mzimba Boma and Jenda.

It equips our zonal officers with the skills needed to support the long-term success of BEFIT.”

During her opening remarks, Mercy Mayuni, Director of Education, Youth, and Sports for Mzimba North, commended Ulalo, stating, “Ulalo's commitment to providing our Zonal Officers with the technical expertise required for a smooth program transition is commendable. Their efforts ensure that we are well-prepared for the successful implementation of BEFIT.”

Fiddes Msowoya, Director of Education, Youth, and Sports for M’mbelwa District Council, encouraged Zonal Officers in Mzimba South to collaborate closely with Ulalo, saying, “I urge all Zonal Officers to work hand-in-hand with Ulalo to ensure the effective transition of the BEFIT program. Collaboration is key to making this initiative a success.”
