Ulalo Bolster Mzimba North District Education's PSLCE Coaching

In a stride towards advancing education, Ulalo has once again demonstrated its commitment by providing support to Mzimba North District Education District to run a 10-day coaching clinic. This initiative aims to benefit approximately 245 top performing students from various primary schools across the district and gathering at Euthini Secondary School.

The learners assembled with the shared goal of enhancing their academic performance, ultimately contributing to the district’s perfomance at the national level.

Jennings Kaira, the Education Division Manager for the north, lauded Ulalo's involvement, describing it as a true friend to Mzimba North Education District in the realm of education.

"We are immensely grateful for Ulalo's support in our educational endeavors," remarked Kaira. "Their commitment to promoting education is invaluable and greatly appreciated."

Echoing this sentiment, Jessy Kapombe, Chief Education Officer for Mzimba North expressed optimism regarding the outcomes of the coaching clinic and its potential benefits for both the district and the nation as a whole.

"We believe that initiatives like these will yield positive results and have a significant impact on our district and our country," Kapombe affirmed.

Speaking on behalf of Ulalo, the Programs Lead - Yewo Msika, emphasized that Ulalo's support extends beyond mere words, underscoring our dedication to promoting education through tangible actions.

"Our decision to support the initiative reflects Ulalo's unwavering commitment to education," stated Msiska. "We believe in investing in the future of our youth and empowering them to excel academically."

Kaira gifts top performers

Among the six role models from different professions brought in by Ulalo, Doreen Luhanga, Ulalo's technical lead, emphasized the importance of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) skills for learners.

"Learners should develop an interest in ICT as it opens up vast opportunities in today's digital world," highlighted Luhanga. "Having proficiency in ICT can significantly enhance their academic and professional prospects."

Ulalo's support for the initiative included financial support to cover the cost associated with academic coaching. Further, Ulalo supported learners with scholastic materials, organization of the role modelling session to inspire and motivate the students and the comprehension and letter writing competition with best 20 learners being supported with an examination pack, further enriching their educational experience.

Through initiatives like these, Ulalo continues to make meaningful contributions towards advancing education and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
