In an event that celebrated educational excellence in Mzimba South Education District, Ulalo emerged triumphant, clinching the title of the best organization dedicated to bolstering educational standards in the district.
The recognition was bestowed upon Ulalo at the Mzimba South Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) Merit Awards Ceremony.
Accepting the accolade at the ceremony, Ulalo's District Coordinator, Noel Ntingwi, expressed gratitude and emphasized the conducive environment in the district that allowed Ulalo to implement transformative initiatives.
Reacting to the development, James Gondwe founder and executive director for Ulalo said the recognition fuels the passion to cultivate an environment where every child and young person can flourish, achieve their utmost potential, and make meaningful contributions to society.
“It is a great honor to receive this recognition for our relentless efforts in the district. This further inspires us to continue our mission of transforming education and empowering the children and young people in Malawi. I dedicate this to the collaborative efforts of the entire Ulalo team in achieving this remarkable milestone,” Said Gondwe.

On her part M’mbelwa District Director for Education, Youth, and Sports, Fidess Msowoya, commended Ulalo for the outstanding dedication to advancing educational standards in the district.

Notably, the groundbreaking Building Education Foundations through Innovation and Technology (BEFIT) is instrumental in propelling foundational learning, with a specific emphasis on enhancing numeracy and literacy skills through the innovative use of tablets. By leveraging the power of technology, Ulalo is empowering children with the necessary tools to build a strong academic foundation, laying the groundwork for future educational achievements.
Meanwhile, Ulalo has been at the forefront of providing comprehensive information, communication, and technology (ICT) support to secondary schools, acknowledging the pivotal role of digital literacy in preparing students for the demands of the modern world.
